My name is Fiona McCulloch and I would like to welcome you to the Hands of Light Therapies website. My interest in complementary therapies is not just a job, it's more of a way of life for me. After being unsettled working for 10 years in an office environment, I took the opportunity to travel and live overseas during this time. Finally, I found what I was looking for and commenced studying for two years in complementary therapies. I am a qualified Reiki Master practitioner and teacher, and have been working with Reiki on a daily basis since March 2003. I qualified in May 2004 from Perth College with an HNC in Complementary Therapies which include Aromatherapy, Swedish Massage and Reflexology. My work experience started in the St Andrews Bay Hotel & Spa, primarily as a Massage Therapist and then I moved to One Spa, at the Sheraton Grand in Edinburgh. After 8 months working in the hotels, I started Hands of Light Therapies, whilst working part time in a local salon where I built up a regular clientele for all of my complementary therapies. My clientele to date is varied from young children to pensioners, seeking a variety of treatments for health problems as well as relaxation and general well-being. My clients have benefited tremendously from my treatments, which has helped them manage their ailments and reduce the severity such as arthritis, fluid retention, insomnia, back ache, muscular problems as well as infertility cases. I am very passionate about what I do and I love to help people manage their health and receive the benefits from these wonderful therapies. There is always something new to learn and I am eager to grow and expand my knowledge in this field for many years to come.
